Note: These measurements are based on body measurements and not

garment measurements.

Every shop has such different sizing. We understand that it is difficult choosing a size when shopping somewhere new for the first time, especially online. If you would prefer to come and try on some pieces you can do so by emailing info@wear-daydream.com to make an appointment (Johannesburg only). 

 

We also offer alterations at an additional cost of R100 to make sure that the garment fits just right to your specific body. If you are unsure of your size, we recommend sizing up, as a garment can always be made smaller.

WASH/CARE INSTRUCTIONS

All of our garments are handmade in Johannesburg and are more delicate than mass-produced clothing. Please follow care instructions (provided on each garment) carefully as to avoid ruining your garments. Wear Daydream, cannot be held responsible for damaged clothing as a result of not following care instructions. 

 

Wash each garment individually the first time that it is washed, to avoid colour running onto other clothes.

DELIVERY

All orders will be delivered/ready for collection within 2 to 6 working days, unless otherwise specified. 

Orders are dispatched on weekdays only. Upon dispatch, you will receive courier confirmation and a tracking number via email. Outlying areas may receive orders a day or two later.

Please ensure that someone will be available to accept the delivery between 8am and 5pm on the day of delivery. If the courier is unable to get hold of the customer to arrange delivery, Wear Daydream will not be held responsible for rescheduling of delivery.

Option 2: Collection

- Customer to collect from Head Office (2 Bolton Road, Parkwood, Johannesburg).

- Customer will be notified when the order is ready for collection, thereafter a time and day will be arranged. 

- If an order is not collected within 30 working days, the order becomes the property of Wear Daydream.

PAYMENT

Our website uses Yoco to process payments. All credit and debit cards are accepted.

RETURNS/EXCHANGES

Our dream is for you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not 100% satisfied please get in touch with us via email or Instagram DM.

Our policy for product returns are as follows:

1. Unwanted Products

If you have a change of heart and decide that you no longer want the product, the product can be returned as long as: 

  • it has not been damaged or used, and has all labels attached; 

  • it is not missing any trimmings or add-ons;

  • you get in touch within 1 day from delivery/collection.
     

Unfortunately, no refunds can be processed for unwanted products. Customers will be issued with a gift card to be used exclusively at Wear Daydream (gift card valid for 6 months). 
 

Product must be couriered at the expense of the customer, or delivered to Head Office in Parkwood, Johannesburg. 
 

Once the product has been inspected and the return has been approved, we will issue a gift card with the purchase price (taking into account discount/coupon codes used on original purchase) of the product within 7 days of the return.  
 

Please note that products that have been custom-made to customer’s measurements cannot be returned under Section 1 conditions.
 

2. Wrong Size

Products can be exchanged for a different size/colour as long as such variation is available and is selling at the same price as the product originally purchased, and the customer notifies Wear Daydream within 7 days of delivery/collection. Please note that the customer is fully-responsible for the courier expenses or can deliver the product to Head Office in Parkwood, Johannesburg. 

We reserve the right to inspect the product before validating  your return, according to Section 1 guidelines. 


3. Wrong Order

If in the unlikely event that we deliver the wrong product to you, please notify us and we will happily collect the product from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will, at your choice, deliver the correct product to you as soon as possible (if the correct product is available); or issue a gift card with the purchase price of the product within 7 days of the return (or refund you if that is your preference). 
 

4.  Products not eligible for returns

The following products are not eligible for a refund, exchange or credit:

  • gift vouchers;

  • bodysuits;

  • products which have been customised per the customer’s measurements. 
     

 5.  Defective products

Wear Daydream strives to provide high-quality products, without any defects.

A defect is a fabric imperfection in the manufacturing of a product, or any qualities of a product which makes the product less acceptable than one would expect. 

The following will NOT be regarded as defects:

  • damage resulting from normal wear and tear;

  • impairment arising from carelessness, or incorrect usage of the product;

  • impairment arising from electrical surges or sea air corrosion; 

  • impairment arising from a failure to care for the product (washing incorrectly);

  • impairment arising from alterations to the product not done by Wear Daydream; and

  • where the qualities of a product, although accurately described and generally fit for its intended purpose, are unsuitable for the specific customer. 
     

6. Standard Warranty

If you have received a product which turns out to be defective, please notify us as soon as reasonably possible after you become aware of the defect. Notification after 2 days of delivery/collection of the product will not be accepted. 

You can notify Wear Daydream by requesting a return via email or Instagram DM, and we will arrange to collect the product from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the product according to our guidelines, and validated your return, we will, at your choice, repair/ replace the product (if such repair/replacement is possible) or issue a gift card with the purchase price of the product (or refund you if that is your preference). Credits and refunds are normally issued within 7 days of notifying Wear Daydream. 
 

7. Order Cancellations

If you decide that you would like to cancel your order after payment, you will receive a full refund if the order is cancelled within 2 hours of placing the order. After 2 hours, the order can be exchanged for a gift card with the purchase price of the products, only if the delivery process has not begun.
